Background: when I'm not riding my wakeboard i hang out with my friends. I also play baseball, basketball and snowboarding. I have been snowboarding all winter and i went to Colorado to snowboard and it was amazing there. I also like seeing when people progress in wakeboard and just everything because it makes me want to do better. I also love learning new tricks too.

What i like most about wakeboarding is meeting new people and learning new tricks.
It is intimidating to learn new tricks. How do you conquer your fears, and push yourself to constantly improve your riding? It is very intimidating to me to learn new tricks because i always think I'm going to get hurt really bad but it helps when people just cheer me on . Once I learn one trick it pushes to learn more and more.
Would you rather...be known for your style, amplitude ( how big you go), or technicality? I think I would rather be known for my style because not a lot of people have good style and it is hard to have good style and it is easier to just go big.
What do you think would be the best thing about being a pro wakeboarder? The best think i think about being a pro would be traveling the world riding in different competitions and meeting new people.
If you could do any trick on a wakeboard, which would it be? if i could do any kid of trick on a wakeboard it probably be a heel side off axis 1240.
Would you rather... Ride like Ben Greenwood, Randall Harris, Shawn Watson, Chris O'ea, Collin Harrington, Or Danny Harf? If i could ride like any of those guys i would ride like Randall Harris because he goes so big and he has and awesome style and looks clean when he lands his tricks.
Name one pro wakeboarder that you'd like to meet and why. I would like to meet Randall Harris because he could teach me new things and I could probably ride with him latter on down the road.
Would you rather...Be pro for a year and never be allowed to wakeboard again... or be able to wakeboard for the rest of your life but limited to only grabs and 180's? I would rather wakeboard for the rest of my life because I just love being behind the boat and being on the water and it doesn't really matter what tricks I'm doing I just like being out there.
What are your goals for 2009? I want to learn a couple of mobes this year and get all my spins down switch and regular; and get all my flips down.
would you rather... only be able to spin or only be able to flip? I would rather be only able to spin because you could tweak those out and go off axis and learn like 1080s and 1240s.
Would you rather... Have to ride the Delta one time in January without a wetsuit or ride all summer with a 4/3 wetsuit? I would rather ride in the delta without a wet suit in the winter because you only have to suffer once and not all summer.
What tricks did you learn last year? I learned a rayley at mikes camp and I also learned a toe five a toe back 180 and a switch 360.
What tricks would you like to learn this year? .I would like to learn a tottie roll and all my 540s.
Who would you like to thank? I would like to thanks all my sponsors and I would like to thank my parents because without them I wouldn't be here doing this sport or anything at all really. I would like to thanks Josh Smith for teaching me and spending his time with me and for training me.Thank you Mike for giving me a great memorable experience and always encouraging me. So thank you all. |
